Our process starts with a site visit and written estimate. We check elevations, plan drainage, photograph existing conditions, and locate utilities before digging. Your proposal outlines scope, materials, mix designs, thicknesses, reinforcement, finish, schedule, and warranty so you know exactly what’s included.
Preparation includes clearing, excavation, and installing a compacted aggregate base. We set forms to grade, verify slopes of 1/8–1/4 inch per foot for drainage, and place reinforcement on proper supports. For interior or moisture-sensitive slabs, we can install vapor barriers and insulation. Typical thicknesses include 4–5 inches for residential driveways and sidewalks, 6–8 inches for heavier-use parking areas, and engineered sections as required for foundations and retaining structures.
Concrete placement follows best practices: consistent discharge, strike-off, bull floating, and finishing at the right stages. We cut joints at the correct spacing and timing, then implement curing—wet cure or membrane cure—to reduce shrinkage. After clean-up and a final walkthrough, you receive maintenance tips on sealing, de-icing, and load limits to protect your investment.
